The making of Leveled Landscapes

A typical setup used for shooting the Leveled Landscapes project. Photographs in this series were captured with a Linhof large format camera and a custom-made* large plexiglass plate with an embedded bubble level. The series captured landscapes with troubling histories throughout Austria between 2012 and 2014.
